Professional Development
The last ten years have been witness to an explosion of knowledge in the combined fields of brain research and education. This wave of exciting breakthroughs forms the foundation of Enriched Teaching’s mission; to provide a bridge between the latest research in neuroeducation and middle level education schools.
We are founded on the principles of Adult Learning Theory reflecting the need for professional development to be long-term, meaningful, action-oriented and ongoing to be effective. We are unique in that we provide year-long professional development and support for administrators and educators, as opposed to single workshops. We begin with a one-day workshop that is followed up with two professional development days. Support of participants is ongoing and reflective of the staff’s individual needs.
